The location was nice

The location was nice because it was jus across the street to the beach access and park. We have stayed on the island several times at different locations. For the needs of quick access to the beach this was nice. It’s an older building so the noise on the room above was heard even into the late hours of the night. So that was annoying but the walls are thin.

Comfortable, affordable, and conveniently located.

Good location, across from park, a block’s walk to the beach, and easy access to shopping and the mainland. The building was dated and well worn. The unit was clean and comfortable but no frills. No hair dryer or Kleenex for example. Kitchen-wear were odds and ends, but completely adequate for us. We called the property managers on a few issues and got a rapid response.

The Oceanside Villas are very close to the ocean and even though it was cooler in February, the sun was out and we walked on the beach everyday. This condo is in need of some updates, especially with the showers fixtures. Overall for the price we paid, and the length of time we stayed, we were relatively comfortable. There are plenty of options for eating meals out and many are close enough to walk to. Also, a Harris Teeter grocery store is practically across the street.

Great location but could use some updating

The beds are not very comfortable and are very small, they definitely got the cheapest beds possible. The shower handles are falling off, the trim is getting kind of moldy; the shower rings are rusty. Just overall needs some money to be put into it. Even updating the faucet fixtures would be a step forward. There weren’t extra paper towels or extra trash bags so we had to buy some. I just think it can be improved. But the location is perfect.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: 1st visit to Isle of Palms. Condo was in great location. Walk to beach, restaurants, across street from Harris Teeter. Older condo but could tell tried to keep maintained. Had lots in the kitchen, but the problem with renters, no one takes care of your stuff. Pots and pans were in awful shape. Need to replaced, they were all scratched up. The whole condo feels like it leans. You can tell when walking across the floor and closes doors that swing back open. On the small side but we didn’t spend too much time inside. Walked across the floor with bare feet first night, I needed to wash my feet before bed. So looked clean, but the floors need to be scrubbed. I took a wet paper towel and wiped the floor-black. So looked clean, but not MY clean. Furniture was comfortable. Close to everything. Bed very springy. Every time my husband turned, I was bounced. Walls very thin. Walked to local pizza place, shop, and Acme Country Kitchen. I thought with 24 rental units and the small pool it would be crowded, but never was too many people at a time. Easy, quick check in. Overall enjoyed stay. ‘Homey’ place.

We had a wonderful stay for our son's recentball tournament! The unit was clean upon arrival. It was stocked with extra linens and lots of dishes. There were plenty of supplies left for washing dishes and extra trash bags. The location is perfect!

This was a great place to stay. Loved that is was a block from the beach and and easy walk. It was aslo very easy to get all over the Charleston area from here. The place is a little dated and could use some up grades but had everything we needed to make breakfast in the morning and 4 of us could spread out.

Reviewer Comments: We only had three full days on IOP, but this place and Island Realty made it so much better.Easy walk to the beach and local shops (Circle K was a bummer because the polar pop machine was broken).We walked to the butcher shop, fish store, Coconut Joes, the surf shop and other places.Condo was comfortable and quiet.Make sure to get up to watch the sun rise on the beach at least once.If you are Catholic, catch Mass at Stella Maris on neighboring Sullivan's Island.Will definitely be back and use Island Realty!

We also enjoyed the access to the fishing pier and ability to walk up Ocean Blvd to some great restaurants. Though we didn't use the pool it was nice to have available. The unit itself was adequate. My main concern was that there was no place to put groceries. All the cabinets were full. Also keep in mind that this is a 2nd story unit so you will have to carry everything up and down. Overall, I would stay again. Island Realty is easy to work with too.

Lovely, clean and close

The unit was clean and very comfortable. It had everything we needed and more. Comfortable beds and two bathrooms. Kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook. There was an automatic ice maker which was nice! We would definitely stay here again.

Over all a good place to stay

This place worked well for my husband, two grandparents, and our teenage son pretty well. It is dated for sure with some funky decor and paint job, but the location is great because you can walk right to the beach, the grocery store, bike rental shop, and coffee shop. It is super conveniently located if you want to pop over to Charleston, Sulivans island, ect.
