"As always, when in this area of CT. I stay at the Lamplighter. Close to the highway, easy walking distance to numerous restaurants. Always very clean, everything works and i did notice the new beds in my room, which were super comfortable. Extremely nice rooms for the price, with fridge and microwave. Shower, instant hot water and plenty of it. I love staying at the Lamplighter. "

The host goes above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Perfect for two people, highly recommend staying at the Shalom Cottage."

"Everything is as advertised. Very very clean house that's actually on the water. It was easy to supervise our kids on the beach so we could relax. I thought it was going to be rockier on the beach and it was really a good mix of sand and pebbles. Bring water shoes and you have a great, safe area to swim. Any beach neighbors that we had shared the beach wonderfly. You could spend each day at the beach in the backyard but we took a trip to nearby Hammonasset Beach State Park that had a great swim and nature area for only 15 to park. Plenty of space and bathrooms there too and a couple places to get food. The house allowed for the 5 of us to spread out nicely, all the kitchen stuff you need, and a nice Weber grill. Everything was clean and the shower made it easy to rinse off the sand whenever we needed to. "

"Nice, very clean. Close to Hamanasset state park and several interesting restaurants.The porch upstairs looks over at the water and is aa nice view! Kitchen is nice and well appointed.The beach looks close on the photos yet is across a street and through a fence. Three nice bedrooms which served us fine since we were three and a child. The. Winding stair is challenging for seniors and small children. One bath but tub as well as a separate shower.The owner was quick to respond to questions. It might help to have a book on property explaining things."

"The location was perfect, there were shopping outlet centers, EXCELLENT restaurants (Donahue's Madison Beach Grille) was beyond delicious , Pizza Palace was GREAT too,winery in Clinton was beautiful, consignment stores, Goodwills, Grocery stores, EXCELLENT location to travel to New York, Our 3 weeks stay was just too short. The property was very very clean, the beds was so comfortable with brand new sheets and comforters, in all three bedrooms.We enjoyed the Glass Room with the Amazing views, We had lots of fun in the game room. The host Vincent was a angel sent from heaven. We NEVER had to call him about anything, Vincent handle everything perfectly fron "Check-In "to "Checkout". Anything we needed to know, Vincent had already answered, before we checked in. The property was well stock with everything we needed and wanted. "We enjoyed a wonderful week at this nice beach house. From the initial booking until check out, the property manager, Reid, was readily available and quick to respond to any question from the initial booking all the way through to the end of our stay. The house was well thought out and worked well for our group of 4 adults and 2 teens. The house was very clean and well-stocked and provisioned when we arrived. Everything in the house worked well and we appreciated the air conditioning which kept the house very comfortable day and night. All the floors and decks meant everyone could find a quiet place to hang out, although we were often on the go walking around the cute little beach neighborhood where the house is located or at the beach itself, or going to get ice cream or seafood at one of the close restaurants. The town of Clinton is small but has grocery stores, a great town boat launch, some small shops and galleries and many other amenities. We had a lovely and relaxing week and would definitely book again! "
