"Beautiful property, great location.
I suggest offering a la carte drinks in the breakfast menu - coffee was available a la carte but a juice was only available with the purchase of the breakfast buffet. "

"A beautiful hotel with lovely staff.
We especially liked the breakfast; a great buffet and you could choose one option from the menu.
The library was a very comfortable place to sit and unwind after a day exploring Madrid. The staff were happy to bring a drink to us too.
We slept very well in the huge bed. We’d happily return if in the area again. "

"Great location, lovely building.
Friendly staff with good bar. comfy room, spacious bathroom. Would prefer walk in shower but this was over bath. Had a great terrace room.
Good amenities. Coffee machine and large bottle of water each day for members.

"We love from the start, all the staf from the door (Roberto was excellent) to the checking and after the checkout, are willing to help. We love the room, hotel, roof top concept with the spectacular view but more than, the well trained staff all are there for help you. Thanks RIU Hotel Plaza Madrid for your spectacular services."
"We stayed in the Smart Suite and loved having our own patio with huge tub. The living area was way larger than the pictures showed with a kitchen, table, and plenty of room even with the couch pulled out for our kids. Great breakfast. Nice rooftop pool and bar area. Walkable to so much in Madrid."
"This hotel is exceptional. It’s beautiful, clean and the staff is so kind and helpful. I recommend this hotel 1000%! Eduardo deserves a stand out as he was beyond kind to us and made us feel so at home. "
"Everything was great. My only complaint is that there is no place in front for cars to drop you off or pick you up. You have to walk about 4 blocks. The hotel staff are not aware of this but it happened to us twice. "
"Easy to get around Madrid from this location. Plenty local businesses near to hotel. Metro station very close. Easy walking to Sol and Plaza Mayor, restaurants etc "
"In the center of it all. Across the street from hotel that cost 10x more. Very posh area of Madrid. Close to everything. Luxurious surroundings. Nicely apportioned rooms. Well worth it. "
"I had an initial reservation after booking as some of the photos of the property on some review sites showed dated facilities. This was not the case and the hotel has gone through a full renovation to have a pleasant cafe at the lobby to clean and modern decor in the rooms. Thoughtful touches throughout from the amenities to storage of your items. The location was a perfect base for my wife and I to explore Madrid by foot. Right off Gran Via and walkable to most of the major sights. "
"Perfect hotel for a stay in Madrid. Right in the middle of everything. Everyone was super friendly and the room are very cozy, clean and modern. Every morning you have a bag with baked goods and the coffee station on top floor is great too. Don’t forget to check the little terrace especially at sunset. "
