Swasey Observatory, which opened in June 1910, houses a 9-inch refracting telescope as well as two 8-inch reflecting telescopes fitted for astrophotography. It also houses an astronomy library and dark rooms.
This treed trio are turkey vultures, I believe. They're sporting a bit more plumage around the head than I'm used to seeing. Maybe this is a winter coating?
