"Exactly what I wanted from a motel"

"Everything was nice. Clean, comfortable, host is friendly and informative. Lots of character for the whole place. There is a fire pit as well with a mini pool. Host provided a safe and fun environment, Very thoughtful and accommodating as he provided a cooler with a few things for us. "

Please note there isn't direct river access from the bungalows, but KP Hole park is a very short walk away. (right next-door) The location is quiet, and we felt secluded, yet we were close to everything. "

"this is a very charming “old Florida” hotel that is 160 years old. It has withstood many hurricanes and weather issues over the years but remains a “grand old lady” in the heart of Cedar Key. The restaurant offers excellent dining choices for dinner only. I will definitely be staying there again in the future."
