“Good location on the high street / highway, but quiet overnight and during the day, despite this. Close to supermarkets, shops, restaurants and cafes. Somewhat dated bathroom, but it and the furniture were still in very good condition. Bathroom and room were clean. Friendly reception staff. Complimentary fresh milk available for tea and coffee. Air Conditioning / Heating worked well in winter. Would stay again.”

“The host was great to communicate with, the apartment was clean and very comfortable for our week stay. We pretty much had everything we needed. Fantastic location- we could walk to most places.The only downside was no wifi- which isn’t a big issue- (our child is doing school by distance) we had our own Starlink-but finding an appropriate space was a little tricky. The driveway is pretty narrow at one part- but we were able to get our large Ute down there.”

“It was 40c on the afternoon we arrived, and it was fantastic to find that the aircon was on and the house cool inside. It is a beautiful location, far away from everything, and had everything we needed to feel at home.”

“Expedia took our booking when Story Bank is closed. We tried to call a number we found but there was no answer. We drove to Mandurama and had no response so We had to return to Blayney a distance of 29km and find somewhere to stay the night there. We need a refund of $112.50 which was taken from our Mastercard account. This could have been avoided if Expedia had not taken the booking. A very unpleasant experience!!”
