"I cannot express how pleased I was with this property. Debbie is an amazing, gracious and generous host. The house is adorable and so nicely decorated to make it feel homey. Everything you could possibly need is supplied and then some. She even has snacks and drinks available. The neighborhood is delightful to walk and has some amazing views. There is plenty to do and see quite nearby. I hope to come back someday!"

"Some of the silverware had to be re-washed. One of the coffeemaksers had what looked like mildew at the bottom, so we used neither coffeemaker. On the pier were a couple of life jackets and the storage bins doors were wide open. Otherwise, things were excellent and we love to come back."

"This was our first stay in a Yurt and we weren't disappointed. We loved the layout, the way we could stargaze in our bed, and relax in the hot tub. I was looking for a private, mountain getaway and this was recommended. My husband and I were celebrating out 10 year Wedding Anniversary and just wanted to get away. "This was a nice spot, easy walk up to main street. It's an old house but made decent for rental. Had everything we needed. It was like the owners took the time to live there and put hooks in the bathroom and things to cook with and the appliances are all new. the Fridge big. Had trash bags, cleaning stuff, washer, dryer are newer. TV was great, puts you into guest mode where you can login to Roku and your Netflix, Hulu, Prime, etc and it locks it out after your stay. "I have been in real estate for 37 years and this property was beautiful. The scenic view from the covered porch and the inside was as comfortable as staying in your own home (very comfortable). The location is just 10--15 minutes into downtown Galax but being in the peaceful setting was more than anyone could ask for.
