“From what I understand the hotel is closing in a few weeks and being sold. Most of the employees have quit and the hotel is running on a skeleton crew. Room was never cleaned in the 8 days we stayed there. I did get some clean towels and sheets on the 4th day but did everything myself. Love the views and the bones of the hotel. Hopefully it will be better managed once the new owners take over. Restaurant was supposed to open at 7am every morning but didn’t open until 7:30-8. They have……

“Very little parking at our building. The exterior needs a lot of work. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen area is small. Dated interior needs some love and attention. Beach access and view were amazing. Location was walkable to everything we needed.”

“We enjoyed our 3 day staycation at this quaint and beautiful hotel very much. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the bed was extremely comfortable. I have to find out where they get the pillows! We had a lovely 1st floor private balcony to relax with a glass of wine in the evening. We also enjoyed the sparkling pool daily. It was very peaceful with comfortable cabanas and furniture and lots of greenery. We also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast at the Mermaid Cafe. I had eggs,……

“Clean property. Room was spacious and extremely clean. Quiet property. Tommy and his wife were amazing hosts. Restaurants and shops within walking distance or a 3 min. drive. Beach is 5 minutes by car. Property is pet friendly.”

“This is a great spot on Flagler Avenue for an overnight stay! Easy onsite parking! The manager was very courteous, helpful, with lots of hospitality thrown in! Our room was small yet clean! We enjoyed our breakfast & the company of the other guests! Great walking street with lots of restaurants, shops, & vibes! Saturday night can be a bit loud on the Avenue since there are several lil bars around with music! However, it didn’t interrupt or affect our sleep. We’d stay again for an over nighter!……

“On first impressions I would have given the hotel a 1 or 2 rating. The reviews I read are not too far off. I was hoping for the best, but prepared for the worst. We had to block a car to check-in. The check-in process was fine, but the room was 90 degrees. Going into a room that warm is not very welcoming and the AC unit is very high up. There is a remote to help though. I was worried it would not cool the room and we would be spending the night in a sauna. I recommend turning the AC unit on and……
