“THIS was exactly what my husband & I needed! The peace & quiet was cathartic to both of us. We LOVED the cabin & it was indeed a Fortress of Solitude in the most beautiful way! We were truly able to disconnect from our hectic jobs & responsibilities & simply BE. And yet, we ate dinner Wed night with nearby family members at the Homestead Steakhouse, and it was wonderful-both the company & the food. We will definitely return; hopefully for longer stays. “We were in town to visit our son and daughter in law that live local and wanted to bring our fur baby. It can be hard to find affordable places that allow pets. The place was very accommodating and actually had two areas that he could roam off leash and us not worry. Perfect place for the 3 of us. Quite little community to just relax. We enjoyed our 2 night stay and will definitely return again.”

“If i could Give a zero star i would.. NOTHING like the pictures. In the middle of nowhere with no service & the internet wasn’t working, then it was roach infested & rat droppings around the dishes. Grass and weeds had overtaken the steps and outside. Obviously hasn’t been kept up. Then The owners only refunded half of my amount back when i shouldve Gotten a full refund. 10/10 horrible experience when it should’ve been a great experience for my 35th birthday . ”
