“This house is really nice and a perfect spot for 2 adult couples. Bedrooms with their own bathrooms on either side of the cabin, a beautiful overlook balcony of the river, and huge windows everywhere to take in the scenery. The owner was really nice and easy to communicate with via text and gave helpful instructions to find the place. It is far off the main road so I suggest traveling in an SUV or a car well off of the ground. My only star taken was for the accuracy of the listing as it says...

The host really did a great job in making sure you had everything you needed and more to be comfortable and happy. We are already planning our next visit.”

“We had two families staying, each with a 3 year old. The house was well stocked, not just in the kitchen, but with activities and entertainment both for adults and kids. Loved being able to take the kids on the nearby waterfall hike and to have all the space out back for them to explore. The only note I'd add is that sound does carry in the house so we had to work around that at kids bed and naptimes. Would definitely visit again!”

“Very beautiful and well appointed cabin in the mountains. We were staying in the area to attend my son's graduation ceremony. Only a 1 hour commute to Lynchburg. Another plus was only 2 steps for my 90 year old dad to climb to get into the cabin and the no stairs to downstairs bedroom. Kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. “My family and I loved the cabin and the gorgeous backyard! The cabin was very comfortable, with lots of movies and a few books, coffee, tea, dishes, a lot of extra bedding and bath towels. The backyard and surrounding area is heavily wooded, so we were able to enjoy listening to the birds and even saw several deer and a black bear. The walk to the river is a very short distance from the cabin; had the weather been warmer, we definitely would've gotten in the water. Overall a great experience,...

“Such a nice property! We especially loved the outdoor spaces - deck, fire pit area, and the bench beside the creek. Quiet and peaceful! Very close to the trailhead for the A.T., which we loved. Go north to climb Three Ridges or south to climb The Priest. The bed was super-comfy too! Great place to unwind.”
