"Great stay. We were only there one night but we will definitely be back. Lovely building and the rooms are huge, everything is so carefully thought out. We loved the honesty shop and breakfast, and my daughter loved the little toy area. "

"We had such a lovely stay here! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We visited over the Easter weekend, so the rates were a bit higher, but it was totally worth it. They even left a chocolate egg and a sweet card for the kids — such a thoughtful touch!
The hotel has its own parking area, which felt very secure. It’s £15 per night, but we were happy to pay for the peace of mind.
Everything about our stay was great, and I’d definitely love to come back next time I’m in Edinburgh."

"The staff were all very kind and the food & cocktails in the restaurant were incredible! I was in a junior suite and it was a lovely experience to treat myself to. "

Would recommend this holiday inn. My family and me would definitely stay here again. And bus stop outside the holiday inn to take you into Edinburgh and other places "
"This hotel is very convenient! Just down the block from a major tram and train transit center, a couple blocks down from the Royal Mile.
The hotel had a comfortable, efficient, clean room space.
The staff were friendly and efficient. "
"Loved our stay here! Had such a great sleep, it was so quiet, and the front staff were so friendly and were able to hold our luggage for us! We also arrived too early around noon, and our room was already ready for us! It was so nice as we had landed early in the morning "
"Stayed for 2 nights right before the fringe festival. Figured we would only use the room for sleeping so we would get a small room that’s close to the action.
This hotel honestly surpassed all our expectations. Yes, the room was small, but there was plenty of space to move around and unpack, definitely not as small as we were expecting. The space was cool, quiet, and most importantly, comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and even checked us in early as our flight came in earlier than the 3 o’clock check in time. Whenever we left or returned to the hotel they would check if we were doing ok or had any questions.
And even if all that wasn’t true, the location is absolutely amazing. A bunch of pubs, coffee shops, grocery stores, and fancy restaurants, all a 10 minute walk away. You can even walk to old town in 10-15 minutes! And Dean Village, a lovely picturesque part of town is a short 7 minute walk away.
Loved our stay, will come again!"

"Wonderful old hotel, great restaurant and bar, fantastic staff. The lifts broke down for a couple of days but we were on the 1st floor so just a bit more exorcise if we didn't fancy waiting for the service lift!
We are looking to book our return visit soon ."
"Really nice property with a nice restaurant connected to it. Friendly staff. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because housekeeping entered my room without knocking. On the day of checkout, (which is at 11am) housekeeping knocked on my door at 8am, waking me up from my sleep. I work at a hotel and we always knock at least 3 times before entering a room and we never knock on a door before 11am. My only complaint."
"Clean Bedshit Every 3days should Be I
stay there For 5 days but Never chance to Change My Beddings Staffing said Only Change or clean After You Check One What if You Stay More Than 3 days Like me "
"The hotel is a series of Georgian mansions that line the street. The room was spacious and lovely. There were breakfast options (not included) and a nice bar for a nightcap. Staff members were friendly and helpful. It is just a few blocks from Haymarket Station several busses, and the tram."
"Lovely hotel . Very helpful and friendly staff on reception, bar area and dining area.
Breakfast was delicious lots of variety and all piping hot.
Definitely recommend anyone to stay at this hotel."
"We liked the location of the property to attractions in Edinburgh. However, without air conditioning, having the windows open made for some loud noises at night from the parking lot and smokers below, and seagulls in the morning. Very nice accommodations with full kitchen to make some meals "at home". Washer/dryer combo unit was not good at drying clothes."
"Absolutely loved our stay here at Eleven Stafford! The area was nice and quiet, but near lots of cute cafes and shopping. The room had everything we needed and was spacious and well decorated. Note that there is no refrigerator and the ice machine was not extremely reliable, so there was no way to keep anything cold if that's what you are looking for. We would definitely stay again! "
"Loved our stay. A beautiful property, with all the amenities you need. The washer/dryer was the best for us since we were on a long trip. The area was quieter than staying in Old Town but still had tons of restaurants and shops. "
"The staff were friendly and helpful, the room and whole building were clean and everything was in good working order. The television however was old and slow- difficult to really use because of this. Otherwise it was excellent!"
"We were able to reach the property on foot after getting off the tram at Haymarket Station. Took less than 5 minutes. We were given a code ahead of time for the front door and our room and we appreciated that they were the same so you don’t have to try and remember so many numbers. Our room was on the first floor, no elevators guys, but it wasn’t a problem for us because we only had two carry ons. The room was small but clean and the bed extra comfy! Bathroom was tight and although older everything was functioning and clean. Really appreciated being able to leave our luggage after check out at their second property just 5 minutes away. "
