This highway exit is only accessible for southbound traffic. There are no specific parking spots; the whole Vista Point paved area is a safe place to pull over with room for dozens of cars. There is a grand view of the Pacific coast between Gaviota and Santa Barbara, and a view of Santa Rosa Island in the distance. A steep, unofficial path leads down from one end of the Vista Point exit.

“The only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars was the abysmal air conditioning. I can only speak for this on the upper unit. Luckily the nights cooled off and there were plenty of windows to let the cool air in. Everything else was great! The property manager, Truman, was great and very responsive.
