Welcome to The Blue Crab! Newly remodeled home has gorgeous high-end finishes while maintaining classic Lowcountry vibes. This home boasts 3 bedrooms plus a sleeper sofa so there’s plenty of sleeping options for friends and family. King bed in primary suite, two Queen beds in 2nd bedroom, and 2 sets of bunk beds for the kids! The 2nd bathroom has a soaking tub that you’ll never want to leave! The main living area has seating for everyone in this open concept plan - a large sectional sofa, dining table for 6, plus extra seating at the kitchen bar. Beautiful electric fireplace steals the show in the living room beneath the large screen TV, and the adjoining sunroom is the perfect spot for reading or enjoying your morning coffee or evening beverage! All this and only minutes to one of the most beautiful private beaches on the East coast. Located in Wild Dunes Resort - the ONLY 5-star resort in SC! The home is located on Isle of Palms where you can find a grocery store, gas station, multiple restaurants, shops, the Isle of Palms rec center, the Isle of Palms County Park, and beach bars. This home is a 7-10 minute walk to the beach or quick drive. Isle of Palms is approximately 25 minutes away from downtown Charleston which is famous for its shopping and history, particularly on King and Market Street. Isle of Palms has year round activities including kayaking, award winning golf courses, paddle boarding, and more. Our company prides itself on making guests feel at home and comfortable while on vacation. For additional information or specific questions, please put in an inquiry for your desired dates.

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide one bar of soap per bathroom, one small shampoo per bathroom, two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the sink, two trash bags, and fresh linens for all beds. We also leave two bath towels and two hand towels per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels or chairs.

*Wild Dunes does not allow guests from "other rental agencies" to use their amenities so there is not access to a pool at this property. There is a rec center on 27th Avenue outside of Wild Dunes that has tennis courts, pickleball courts, a soccer field, baseball field, and basketball courts. The fire code does not allow grills for guests.

The Blue Crab was a great place to stay in Isle of Palms. It includes nice walking trails on the property for a morning walk and close to the Wild Dunes Resort for nice and convenient restaurants. We really wanted some time to relax and this house and all of its amenities was perfect. There was nothing we could think of that was missing in this house for preparing food and just feeling like home. My husband worked a few days while on vacation and there was plenty of space for me to give him privacy for calls. Check in and checkout was seamless. The personal note from the property management team was a great touch which made us feel if we needed anything they were available. Great place to stay!

The property was exactly as described. It was very clean and had a well appointed kitchen. The ensuite bedrooms were ideal for two couples. The coffee maker took a bit of experimenting to operate, but it worked well once we figured it out. The only thing we might suggest would be a few low level lights along the sidewalk to provide better lighting to the house at night.

Fantastic Property!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Blue Crab. The house has been beautifully renovated recently and properly supplied with all the essentials you may need. The house was very clean and has very comfortable bedding. The location of the property is ideal to accessing the beach as well as the Wild Dunes property. Would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient stay on IOP.

Lovely place - very comfortable, clean and pretty!
We stayed with our two young children for a long weekend. This is a fantastic property. Easy walk to wide, shell-strewn beach, and quiet neighborhood (these were our priorities with small kids along on the trip). The place is spotless and check in was very easy. We felt very safe in the gated community. Ample parking for two cars. There is a convenient sidewalk that runs throughout the community (about a 3.5 mile loop if you're a runner or walker!). The king bed was very comfortable and our kids slept well, so I assume their beds were comfy too! It's tough for me to sleep in rental properties typically because the beds usually bother me, but in this case I had no issues, which was a relief. It was great to have two bathrooms with 4 people, and they're gorgeous and recently redone, from the looks of it. Plenty of toilet paper provided, as well as shampoo/conditioner, and soap. Plenty of towels, too. The living room and kitchen furniture are new-appearing, as are the appliances - definitely a luxe vibe. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend to families, young kids and older kids, and even older folks given how accessible it is (some stairs to climb to get in the front door but there are handrails). As an FYI, guests are asked to do light cleaning before you leave (run dishwasher, take out trash, strip beds and gather all towels, etc). I like to note that so future guests are aware (it's usually not called out in listings at time of booking).

What a great house, great location and quiet neighborhood. I could walk to the beach in 10 minutes, and there were so many other wonderful walking/biking options right out the door. I felt very safe being in a gated community. The house was well maintained and very comfortable.

Great Holiday Home-base
The house was roomy, very clean, simple stylish decor, and well-appointed (particularly the kitchen). Screened porch was great for use even in the cold. Short walk to the beach as promised and near all the Wild Dunes resort shops etc. There was a lot of rain at the beginning of the week and for 2 days the walkway from the car to the house was completely underwater —this was the only major inconvenience. We would stay here again anytime!

Nice Gated Condo
We booked the Blue Crab for a Girls Trip with 6 women and had a great time here. The living room, kitchen, dining room, and porch was the perfect layout for us to mingle and gather. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and roomy. The location was fantastic for our trips over to Charleston. We only had one slight draw back which was how long it took for the water to heat up in the showers, but otherwise everything was perfect!

Rented this for our family Thanksgiving, including young adults, parents and grandparents. This home was enjoyed by all! Convenient to the beach, gated community, single floor living for the grandparents, large well stocked kitchen for dining table for great family holiday meal and easy access to restaurants down the beach for evening out. Host was extremely organized and prompt in all responses and as instructions for checkin and out and home was so well organized, our stay was easy. What a great place, we will be back!

If you're going to IOP because you want to enjoy the beach and ride bikes with your kids, this is a great house to do that from. Peaceful and quiet behind the gate at Wild Dunes, and on the quietest part of the beach after an easy 10 minute walk. Really a great spot for a parents and up to 6 kids

This cottage was renovated beautifully. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance you could possibly need. The place was clean and bright. It provided a lot of usable space in both the gathering areas, such as the kitchen, den and porch, as well as having comfortable and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms with plenty of privacy. Would definitely stay here again.

Anniversary Celebration
My husband and I rented this wonderful home for 3 nights to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The home is just as pictured on-line and was beautiful. We only used the master bedroom and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only suggestion I would make is on the outside steps that are painted a tera cotta color, it was hard to see the last step. It might be a good idea to paint that last step black. We would definitely stay here again.

Great stay at Wild Dunes!
We loved our time at Wild Dunes and the house was great for our extended family including a toddler and an infant! The home was comfortable and included everything we needed for our stay. We ended up driving to the beach but parking was always available and easy to navigate. Being in the Wild Dunes property was nice for walks and easy access to the ice cream shop and market, but we would love a way to access resort amenities like the pool and tennis courts next time, even if that was an added cost.

Beautiful Family Rental
This is a great renovated property in a convenient area. Tastefully decorated, well-appointed and fantastic kitchen, and comfortable beds. The bunk bed room was fun for our three kids. I appreciated that the rental company provided ample towels, blankets and pillows for a family of five. Super comfy, clean couch and lounge chair, perfect for movie nights after longs days on the beach. Easy booking, check-in and check-out. Not as clean upon arrival as I would have expected (food still in air fryer, messy/dirty porch, sand in bathroom), but other than that, an awesome place to stay for the week!
