"Wonderful house and location! Plenty of room! Would like to come back!!"

"Perfect location, walk out to the beach. Building was noisy on the weekend when other units were rented. Some of the furniture (outside) and utensils was needing repair/replacement. Amenities says kayak/canoe - reached out to owner to determine if this was the rental across the street but they never replied. Lots (too many) automated emails upon booking, but owner did not respond to my emails."

"The house was convenient to the area. Having to share laundry area with the apartment and only having 8AM - 2PM was not ideal. Evenings would be better for a family. 1 bathroom for 5 people was ok, but made it comparable to a hotel room. Beds were not comfortable at all unless you like extra hard. The beds were the biggest negative. Everything else was good."

"The space was just right for 4 women. All the rooms were a nice size and each had queen sized beds that were very comfortable. The living area was cozy, the outside deck was fabulous! We especially appreciated being so close to the beach and the way the dune directly behind the house blocked the view of people on the beach, while providing an amazing ocean view. We would definitely rent again!"

"We all agree that the very short walk to the beach was absolutely perfect. Also we loved the colors and overall ocean themes were fun. Spotless, very quiet and so restful. We put the area guide to good use and the recs were spot on!! We rate Wendi as a 5+ star host."

"The property was just as advertised. Very comfortable. Updated has been done to kitchen and baths. Great Views. The only thing negative is an extra roll of toilet paper would have been nice has to go out and buy some on the first night. Night lights in the bathrooms would have also been nice. "My husband and I brought our two mini schnauzers with us on vacation to this perfect place!!! We were so comfortable at the Scooby Shack with our girls!! It was very peaceful and this beautiful place literally had everything we needed! Communication with the host was always great, and we no issues whatsoever with our stay!! "Our family includes a paraplegic, so having an accessible home was critical. Accessible has a lot of meanings; in this case, his wheelchair could fit through the bathroom door (which it did not in a previous vacation home), and the bathroom sink was a good height for a wheelchair user. The shower, unfortunately, did not work for him because he uses a shower chair that would not fit through the shower door. So he had to take the elevator down to the outdoor shower. "Our grandson is being transferred to Jacksonville. We wanted to make an advance trip with him to find a home to buy. This home had easy access for that purpose. Food Lion was close by for any groceries we needed. The kitchen was nicely supplied with all we needed for our cooking needs. It was nice to have a washer and drier for convenience of washing clothes while cooking dinner and reviewing the houses we saw that day.
