“Great communication”

“Our stay was amazing! My family of 6 (kids 10, 9, 6, 18mon) had more than enough space for everyone to do their own thing! There was a pack n play on property which was helpful. My only suggestion would be some sort of available baby gate for stairs protection (we were able to improvise) as well as a highchair option. We had local family so was able to borrow one. Vic and Grace were incredibly responsive and everything was clean and in working order. We will most definitely stay again when we……

“This listing has a claim of sleeping 4. It does not. There is one queen bed and one air mattress. The only space to put the air mattress down is the middle of the living room if you rearrange. If you're looking for cute and clean it may be a bit lacking as the wall in the bathroom is patched from some recent debacle but not sanded or painted and the building on a whole is kept up, but not super clean. It seems a bunch of young adults may occupy the surrounding apartments coming and going at……

“This was our second stay at this property. We loved it and had a pleasant experience both times. The host was so kind and accommodating. They knew we traveled with children--on our first stay our children happily slept on the couches--so when we arrived the second time, there was a second bed set and ready for us. It is the kindest gesture that we've ever received at any b&b.”

“It was perfect for what we needed, just a place to sleep in Oak Park. The price was reasonable until the surprise 100 cleaning fee for a less than 24 hour stay. I blame myself for not looking sooner and limiting my options. The host was extremely responsive and helped us figure out when we had trouble with check in. I have no complaints about the host, because he was great, but the cleaning fee should have been up front. I think this is a newer host and something just wasn't set up right for……

“We stayed here over St. Patrick's Day weekend and it was great. The neighborhood is quiet and there's lots of good places to eat close by. It was about a 35 minute drive to the Field Museum and Shedd Aquarium which was perfect. The host Vic was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions I had. If you have little kids and are looking for a quiet place close to the city this is a great option. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“I chose this home because we were visiting Chicago and wanted a place outside Chicago with easy access to the Metra station (Joliet). We were very happy with our choice! The house was spotless and quite spacious. Safe and convenient location, many restaurants nearby. My husband enjoyed having large TVs in both the living room and bedroom. The bed was comfy and i loved all the windows and sunlight. Would definitely book again if we're back in the area! ”
