Very disappointing experience for the price We paid approximately $8,300 in total for our stay, and the overall experience did not come close to the standard we expected for that price. There were several maintenance and cleanliness issues, including rust in the bathroom, an old and unhygienic toilet brush, poor common areas, and considerable noise from staff preparing breakfast around 7:00 AM. Breakfast itself was disappointing. The fruit did not seem fresh and the eggs tasted unpleasant. Most concerning, I saw a rat on the veranda directly outside the kitchen area, with the possibility of entering the kitchen and reaching fruit that had been left out overnight. This was extremely disturbing and raised serious concerns about hygiene and food safety. The room also did not match what we reasonably expected from the photos shown when booking. We believed we were reserving a pool-facing room, but despite asking about changing rooms, we never received a satisfactory resolution. For a stay costing $8,300, we expected much better cleanliness, maintenance, food quality, service, and attention to detail. Had we known what the actual experience would be like, we would not have paid this amount.
