“Sheep and chickens were friendly. They set the vibe perfectly to slow down and just enjoy. We were able to make a decent dinner between the grill area and the surprisingly efficient kitchen. Best shower we encountered over our whole trip - 5 stops. Bed was very comfortable. The record player was a nice surprise. Luckily we had been collecting our own along the way of our trip but I highly recommend the Brothers Reed out of what is available in the cabin.”

“Stayed only one night but the property would be great for multiple nights. The Smokey the bear theme around the cabin and interior decor is fun and makes the place feel homey. The loft bed is comfy and not too soft. The Murphy bed mattress is foamy and squishy which would work if soft bed is a preference. The out door porch from the kitchen was great spot for breakfast in a nice weather morning. The place is suited for 2 travelers (if one likes firmer bed and one likes squishy bed) or a couple.……

The hosts were responsive and helpful, the property was exactly what we were hoping for, and it served us well.I did a poor job planning our itinerary and reached out to the owners a couple of times to see if they could accommodate an added day and some other scheduling needs. They were very helpful in minimizing the impact of my sub-par planning.The house was comfy and clean, and we will be back again if our travels take us through Grant’s Pass another time.”

“If you are looking for very rural, quiet, and without city amenities, this is your place. Do not come and show your disappointment, as it is accurately described. It’s just the type of place I look for, the quaint cabin with unusual antiques placed around, the friendly hound, are bonuses.”

“We had an amazing stay! Beth and Brian were the consummate hosts. They were prompt in their communication and once we arrived they couldn't have been more hospitable. We stayed in the bunkhouse with our crew of 10. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed to make our meals.Having the water closets, showers and sinks all separated is so helpful allowing multiple people to get ready at once. The bunk beds were comfortable and allowed for good rest.The grounds were gorgeous! ……
