Located between Newport and Balboa Piers this mid Century 4 unit building on West Balboa Blvd Is perfect for short walks to either Pier and many fine restaurants, as well as the Balboa Ferry and the Catalina Flyer. This Studio apartment has a full kitchen. There is a comfy queen size captain's bed with storage underneath and ample closet and drawer space. Side tables are laptop tables to provide a workspace. Amenities include Smart TV, Cable, free Wifi, coin op washer and Dryer, there is a gas BBQ with table and chairs on a shared patio space. 2 Tommy Bahama Beach chairs and Boogie Boards are provided and stored in the garage with the laundry. This is a ground floor unit. There is a small bathroom with a NEW SHOWER!. Street Parking only. Quite hours are very important. No animals allowed on property due to allergies. So convenient to beach, shops and market

Great location

Great place for our weekend get away. Enjoyed the ease of parking which can be hard in a coastal town, great price and location nestled between the ocean and bay. Walkable to all the sites, restaurants and stores. Would stay again, as we plan on doing this trip yearly now.

small, but very adequate

Everything was very well stocked. The shower was a little small to be able to wash your feet. This unit did not have a garage to park in even though there were three empty garage spaces. That would’ve made it a lot better if we didn’t have to hunt for street parking.

Wonderful Stay in Newport Beach

We stayed here for two weeks in March. It is conveniently located in the middle of the peninsula, about half way between the piers and halfway between the ocean and the bay. We had a wonderful time.

Wonderful little getaway

Perfect size for 2 people. Clean and quiet. Just cross the street and it is a beautiful walk along the boardwalk to Newport. Second time staying! We will be back!

Location was amazing and the place is super clean and comfortable. Walking distance yo everything. We left behind a personal item and realized on the way to the airport. I sent and email and the host responded right away and mailed it too us. Very impressed with everything We will be back

Get away from the snow

We have stayed at this address before....not this studio though. We have now stayed at unit A, B, and C. They have all been clean and comfortable. We had a hiccup with the water heater in this unit. The owners were quick to respond and act on the situation, priceless!! We will definitely stay again, maybe we will try unit D next time! Thank you owners!

Just right for our stay

Perfect location, very clean and cozy. It is nestled right between Bay Street, which is a very high-end residential area (i.e. mansions galore) and the beach, which has a miles-long pathway and perfectly sandy beach that was not crowded when we were there in May. We felt very safe at this location and enjoyed sitting outside on the shared patio. The bed is super comfortable and we slept great. The couch is decent, I do wish the sitting area had been a little more comfortable. Everything was very clean and well-stocked. It was nice to have the kitchen so we didn't have to eat every meal out. We walked everywhere - it takes about 15 minutes to walk to Newport Beach and about 20 minutes to the other end near the Balboa Peir. If you have time, we recommend the sunset cruise in the bay and Fly N Fish Oyster Bar in Newport Beach. It's a touristy area, so a little challenging to find the "gems". Thank you for a wonderful stay!
