The room was basic but very clean with comfortable beds. There was a small fridge which was nice. The air conditioner was a bit noisy. The view from the small balcony out over Lock Seven was terrific, and the highlight of the stay. The desk staff were very nice and helpful and provided us with a good breakfast recommendation and coupon.

A very cool place to stay to watch the ships pass through the Welland Canal at Lock Seven. A unique experience however a simple, older style hotel with no elevator access to upper floors. Quiet, comfy bed, refrigerator in room,outdoor patio for relaxing.

The location is the major appeal of the property. Seeing the ships go by was SO COOL. The property is clean. The rooms are basic and not updated, but meet the standards for a clean and comfortable stay. I just wish there was a microwave.

We really, really enjoyed our quick trip here immensely. The location is fabulous, the rooms are very large, and it had everything we needed. It’s tucked into such a cute little neighborhood as well and not far from NOTL. We definitely want to return!

The location on a Lock was wonderful. In our short time of being there we saw 3 big ships and 4 personal boats make the journey through the Lock from LAke Erie to Lake Ontario.
