"It is very old and run down ac/heater rattled all night and you can see right through it. Tub had cracks in it had a mildew smell to the point we bought air freshener from the dollar store across the street. Had to park in the front and walk to the back even though there was parking in the back. "

"The location is ideal for skiing Summit County. The room was clean and the beds were solid sleepers. The hot tub and pool were added value after a hard day on the slopes."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Block and also this litter city, Silverthorne. We stayed 2 nights in the Container Room which sleeps 3. We are a family of 3 and so my daughter took the futon and we took the queen bed. It was comfy and sufficient space for our family. Everything was very clean and well organized. The common/community areas are very user friendly and welcoming. The view from our room was also gorgeous! We got a great view of Blue River. The icing on top is it snowed the last night we were here so we woke up to a picturesque view of a blanket of white snow over the mountains and land nearby. This hotel is also very inclusive and pride friendly! We were very impressed! We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back!"

"Hotel is awesome and highly recommend! Only two things on the down side is shower water pressure is low but it is in a Mtn Town ( not sure if that makes a difference) and Pool water is cold and not enjoyable. "
