“It was ok. I don't think it really is what I think of as a "boutique hotel". This was a former B&B, so it's basically a nice B&B without breakfast. I will say it was nice having coffee downstairs in the morning, but either have some good pastries or don't put out at all. The very dry mini-muffins and little scones were not great. Luckily we got a good deal, and some of their other properties look worth checking out. Service was great though- they were very responsive to my texts. I think……

“Before we even entered the rental we were enchanted with the view. Lake Superior is RIGHT THERE!! It was amazing, but of course, it got better. Entering the space (quite easily thanks to Tabitha's instructions) magnified the water view. Once we took our eyes off the view, we realized how amazing the rental space is all on its own. “This was our second stay at Camp Amnicon. We stayed in Quietude last year, but booked Sunset this year because the three new ones weren’t available. It was great!! We think we might like sunset/sunrise better because they feel much more private, and we didn’t need the bigger space of the newer cabins. So cozy - we love the fireplace! ”
