“Was camping but storms pushed us inside. Duluth area is usually ridiculously expensive for crappy rooms but I was shocked paying only $120 for a room and the staff and amenities were awesome !! Couldn’t hear any hall sounds or other issues I’ve had staying in Duluth. Breakfast was delicious will be staying here from now on !!”

“Great balance of location vs price, when you compare it to the more pricey hotels in Canal Park. Really nice to have a full fridge, a stove, and dishwasher. Not exactly an AirBnB, though, as for any real cooking you would have to bring in absolutely everything that normal AirBnBs might already have (such as bottles of oil and other things that you only need a little of). Overall great place to stay. One example of how it could be more thoughtful was that in the shower there is absolutely no……

“I loved the vibe of this older but updated hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, parking was easy (and there was a roller rink a short walk across the parking lot - bonus!), and the sheets and bedding were super comfortable. I wanted to take them home with me. :)”

“Well first off, we didn't make it to our room until 3 AM, I tried calling numerous times, but no answer. When we did finally get there, we were told that our credit card did not go through, which we had, fradulent charges on our card, and they sent a new one to us, just in time for our trip. Instead of getting a phone call, they canceled our reservations. In turn was told we had to pay full charge, and would have no maid service, Honestly, we have stayed with this company many times, and have……

“First, I am a platinum member with Expedia, and I booked the windowless room, knowing there were other rooms available and supposedly I would get a free upgrade if a room was available. We stayed in the middle of the week for only two nights, and online it said there were better rooms available, when I asked about the room upgrade, they said "that is Expedia." If it IS Expedia that failed this, I will no longer be pushing to get those extra nights stay to keep status. If it is the hotel, Expedia……

“I really enjoyed staying here. It was a very nicely renovated place made into a nice place to staff. The room was very clean and comfortable. The code to get in worked good. They had a parking space designated for your stay that saves you money with parking.”
