"This is a very nice hotel with extremely helpful and friendly staff. It’s within walking distance of the waterfront, and there is a cute little heated pool. We arrived about an hour before check in and just wanted to park in the lot as parking was very hard to find in the busy downtown. However, we were welcomed into our room and given walking directions. It was a very comfortable stay."

"I've stayed in many many large VRBO properties, this one is by far my favorite. The house is amazing, it has personality and quirks, it's put together with care and houses many stories. the host, Jim, has put so much care into the place and he is an amazing resource who really cares that guests enjoy their stay here. The cars, the pond, the game room, our group had so much fun just barely scratching the surface of all we could have done at this house. truly can't wait to go back!"

"Such an Amazing gem of a retreat! The cozy boat house had everything we needed to enjoy a taste of living right on the water and close enough to town to enjoy all Gig Harbor and greater SeaTac area has to offer.We stayed for 5 nights arriving on the 4th of July and enjoyed viewing fireworks in the distance from our private deck and soaking in the beautiful summer weather.The kitchenette is nicely appointed and we enjoyed making breakfast and a couple of dinners/grilling. We found ourselves wanting to get back after day excursions to fully enjoy the evenings on the deck and the sea/wildlife viewing.Heavenly to wake in the mornings from a comfy bed with morning light and sounds of the water.Krissy and Cullen are lovely hosts and very helpful with the Kayaks and attending any needs, which we really didn’t have.Don’t be intimidated by the drive down or driveway, after the first time it’s a snap!Thank you for such a wonderful stay, we can’t wait to come back!"

"Of all the VRBO properties we have stayed in, this was a 100% perfect property. There was not one thing you would want. Plenty of closet space, beautiful furnishings, walkable to Gig Harbor, and ultra comfortable. Normally we stay at VRBO to reach a location. This is the location. A 5 minute walk to the back yard, and sound views, takes 20 minutes because the gardens are so beautiful. The view is the best in Gig Harbor. End your day with a glass of wine and sitting in the lawn chairs."

"The home was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. The neighborhood was quiet and the beds were comfy so we slept well at night. The home was located near our family in Gig Harbor where we spent the majority of time. Collin, our host, was quick to respond to our questions and needs. We would definitely stay here again. "We’ve stayed here twice a couple of years apart in the summer, and have loved our time here. For our second stay, we looked around at many properties in the area, and you won’t find a better location for a family in the price range. We wake up in the morning and kayak with the two kayaks provided for use while the tide is high and calm, and again in the evening as well as fish (although we didn’t catch anything). We explore the many hikes and restaurants in the surrounding area as well as take day trips to Point Defiance for the zoo or Olympic National Park or Poulsbo. There is so much to do in the Gig Harbor area! In the evenings, we often have a fire in the fire pit and make s’mores and watch the seals pop their heads up and see crabs walking by in the water below when the tide is high. If you live in a city and are used to some noise, the noise of the bridge or shopping center behind the property won’t bother you. We love to pop over to the Local Boys market behind the home to pick up fresh produce and other necessities. We’ve Door Dashed dinner a couple of times, and had no problem with the delivery people finding the home despite the pin on the map being a little off. Our kids love staying here, and we’ve made great family memories. Pack some water shoes to take full advantage of the backyard on the shoreline. "

"We were all in from Philly for my son's graduation & this property was perfect for all of us! The deck & waterfront were beautiful. Used the kayak & saw so many harbor seals. The house was spacious & loved the juke box & record collection for the turntable. Had a few small issues but were resolved quickly. Would definately rent this property again!"

"It's ALL about the view from the deck and front picture windows. The property/house itself is average and very inconvenient to get to from where you are permitted to park. Wagons and wheel barrows are made available to help transport luggage, etc. to the house from your car as you negotiate a very steep and winding sidewalk. "

"Super easy check in process. Beautiful view, convenient location. Ground floor duplex was basic/dated but very clean & had everything ( plus some ) we needed. Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again. A few minor things to note… (these did not change my rating as they were minor & our most important needs were met). This is a ground floor apartment, every now & then you will hear your neighbors upstairs. It wasn’t disturbing, just something you notice. Pets were allowed, that was a must for us. But, when we arrived the house rules were confusing. They state “Guests with pet must bring potty/toilet. Pet pooping/peeing on premises (floor, carpets, lawn etc) is prohibited”. At 1st I found this frustrating, my dog doesn’t have a potty/toilet. There is a nice little lawn, we always clean up after our dog. But, I walked her across the street (neighbors yard and public right away by sidewalk). Had the weather been bad or it not been as lit (street lights) I would have been concerned walking my pup off property by myself at night.All in all a great little place & we’ll definitely come back.
