The host requires you complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds, gather used towels, and store extra beds
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks, and take out the trash
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Close the blinds/curtains in the queen bedroom and garden-level en-suite.
Ensure outdoor furniture cushions are dry and return them to the storage bins
Set the Nest thermostat to “Eco” and make sure the fireplace flue is closed.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

An Oasis in the Mountains

We needed a place to land so that we could visit an overnight camp for our oldest daughter. Little did we know, this was more than just a few rooms to sleep in. This was truly an oasis in the mountains, a place for restoration and TIME together as a family in the beautiful setting of this treehouse in Pond Eddy, NY. Everything is close by: coffee, dining, the river - yet we felt worlds away in Marcus' beautiful home. We appreciated every single detail, including the baby grand piano, games for the kids, and artistic accessories around the house that made it feel like you were suspended in the middle of the woods, yet in a tasteful Manhattan apartment or luxury hotel. We cannot wait to return down the road! Thank you for everything, Marcus. We adored your home!!

Holiday at the Treehouse

Our DC and Boston families met up at this beautiful house for Thanksgiving. The property is modern and pristine, and appointed with everything we could possible need. The design of the house offers forest views from every room. Great location, wonderful communications from the host, incredible decor. We hope to return in the summer! surrounding us with forest and magical snow showers.

The perfect place for a weekend trip

Quiet and lovely spot in Barryville.

This was a perfect family getaway for a short stay near the Delaware river. Keyless check in was easy and communication with our host, Emily was prompt and helpful. The house is roomy and and well appointed, with comfortable beds and plenty of linens and towels. We appreciated the option of bringing our dog with us and the convenience of having some firewood and spices and cooking oil already there.

We had a wonderful stay in the house. The setting is magnificent and exactly what we needed to unwind. The home is beautiful and the owner's clear instructions made everything easy to operate. This home was a perfect place to enjoy the beauty of nature.

The house is a real getaway, surrounded by woods and very private. All we heard at night was the sound of nature. We even heard a bear one night! The house had everything we needed to relax from the city. The owners, Emily and Stephen were lovely and responsive.

Very nice house and the location is amazing.

We enjoyed the house, it was very clean and the house is relatively new so everything is in working order. Kitchen is fully stocked, fireplace is beautiful and you definitely have to try the skydeck on a clear night. The only hiccup we had is that we were a party of 7 and ran out of well water so if your traveling with a large group be conscious of the water usage. Overall it's a 5+ stay. Will definitely consider this house for a summer trip.

Wondeful Stay

Beautiful property! It was a larger group and two of us had to sleep in the loft area by the rooptop access, that was a bit uncomfortable if you had to use the bathroom at night and climb down the steep ladder. Regardless, we made it work and we all fit overall comfortably. The yard and property are beautiful, and the deck was the best part. Would recommend!

We had a wedding nearby and the property was in close range. The house was perfect. It was furnished in very good taste. We enjoyed the large deck and the fire pit below. A big Thanks to Emily for all her help. She responded to all our request immediately. I would be a return guest.

My husband and I plus a group of 3 friends stayed here for a long weekend after Christmas and had a great time. The home is beautiful, stylish, spotlessly clean, comfortable, and fitted with pretty much everything that we needed including kitchen supplies, coffee, extra towels and blankets--perfect. The Owners Emily and Steve were friendly and communicative and extremely accommodating. We are already planning our return trip but cannot decide on summer or winter :) You will not be disappointed with this home and it's amenities.

Our Holiday 2016 Trip

My family gathered at this beautiful home Christmas week of 2016 as a way to find a central holiday location for those with busy work schedules. We had such a wonderful time! Everything we needed was there. Both the natural beauty of the land and the beauty of the interior made such wonderful memories for all of us. We spent the days relaxing and enjoying the wonderful fireplace and food prepared in the very well equipped kitchen! We look forward to more stays to come!
