Overall pretty good. It is a family owned small hotel. It is very quiet and comfortable. It is not fancy, but pretty sweet. The people working there are very nice. I have no complain and enjoyed my one-night stay there. The only issue is that the hotel is difficult to find. I walked by it twice and didn't see the entrance. The google location is correct, but the door is so easy to miss. It is a hidden gem once you found it.

I had an amazing stay at Tago Hotel! The staff was incredibly attentive, especially Andrea, who answered all my questions in English since I don’t speak Spanish. She truly made everything easy and welcoming. The food at Tago was delicious, and the nightly dessert delivered to our room was such a special touch—we looked forward to it every evening. The restaurant that’s part of Tago, right on the beach, was perfect for our beach days. The views were the best on the beach, hands down. The whole place has a quaint, boutique feel while still offering all the big-hotel amenities. We also loved the restaurant Fara Fara. They made sure to get to know us, checked on us constantly, and the service was amazing. The food was the best—everything wholesome and cooked on the grill. We tried the ceviche, fish, steak, and the potatoes, sweet potatoes, and carrots… all absolutely to die for. Joshua and Rick were incredible. Overall, Tago Hotel exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return!

Overall the place was nice, the staff very friendly. However the first day we couldn’t get wifi at all because you needed a QR code and our room was missing one, the staff couldn’t help much since they said they didn’t deal with the wifi until another front desk guy gave us the password for the wifi in the unit below us. Also the AC works great but there’s very thin blankets, I slept great but my boyfriend felt really cold the whole night. The place is very peaceful although close to the city and beach, you will have to rent something to get around, the moped for me and my boyfriend worked great and you can rent it at the hotel. There’s just a lot of unfinished roads because it’s a developing city. There was like a two hour rain and the hotel lost power for a couple hours so no water or electricity, and then same happened on our last day at the time we had to leave.
