We stayed here for the first part of our Bali vacation. The property is beautiful, our room was clean, and every staff member we interacted with was incredibly kind and eager to help. Their hospitality was truly the highlight of our stay. We were disappointed to find that the beach was inaccessible due to a beach restoration project. We specifically chose this hotel because of its beachfront location. The hotel did create a small faux beach area, which was a thoughtful touch, but it wasn't the same as having access to the ocean. We wish we had known about the restoration before booking. We also found the restaurant food to be below our expectations, and the shower water had an unpleasant smell and never seemed to get very hot. The massage was much firmer than we expected and wasn't particularly relaxing for us. One thing that surprised us was the language barrier. During the rest of our time in Bali—including our second hotel, restaurants, shops, and with other drivers—we had very little trouble communicating in English. At this resort, however, communication was often difficult, which made it challenging to ask questions, get recommendations, or fully enjoy some of the services. The staff were always kind and genuinely wanted to help, but the communication barrier made things more difficult than anywhere else we visited. Overall, we appreciated the kindness of the staff and the beauty of the property, but but these issues kept us from fully enjoying our stay.

Well worth the price. Kids had a great time at the family paradise. Very good breakfast, especially the omelettes.

Great hotel in the Ubud jungle. Staff very very friendly. Bungalow set up was spacious. Only concern was a few mosquitos managed to squeeze into the rooms at night.
