Beautiful views from virtually everywhere on the property. Great location close to downtown Funchal, but far enough away for the area to feel quiet and calm. Nice restaurants in the vicinity. The hotel staff were excellent! Professional, friendly, and helpful. Received an upgrade at check-in to a fantastic room with an even more amazing private deck overlooking the Atlantic. Buffet breakfast was good. Overall, the property was great, hated to leave.
