The miles of unmarred landscape makes Fiji one of the best ecotourism destinations in the world. Many of the hotels in Fiji are mere minutes from spectacles like 400-year-old trees and cascading waterfalls, and divers can swim with Fiji's indigenous sharks. Scattered through an astounding 333 islands, many resorts even have beachfront access to diving locations. You'll be able to find a cheap Fiji hotel deal with easy access to any natural sights you could want to see.

You might not think Fiji and sports go hand-in-hand, but the islands have incredible opportunities for golfing, fishing, and even sea kayaking. Surfers can catch some waves and sailors can take in the islands from afar. Many Fiji hotel deals include access to golf courses and other venues in the room rates or at discounted prices. Nature lovers can hike to the falls at Bouma National Park and learn to snorkel in the Great Astrolabe Reef. Even in the shallows, you can spot giant clams, sea turtles, and manta rays.

Part of what makes the islands unique are the incredible Fiji hotel packages available. Many rooms have traditional thatched roofs and breathtaking ocean views. Fiji hotels gives you far more than the typical resort experience. Husk coconuts, learn to weave, and race crabs under the patient tutelage of the locals. Book your space in these popular activities ahead of time to guarantee a spot and get a discount.

Each island has its own special celebrations and ceremonies. Along with dances and storytelling are traditions like the kava ceremony. Present a kava root to a local village leader and be invited to drink a relaxing, but peculiar, beverage made from the root. When you make your reservations, be sure to investigate what once-in-a-lifetime experiences you can take part in locally.

A trip to the islands can be an unforgettable adventure. With a little romance, adventure, and family fun, the Fiji islands have a little something for everyone.

    "Well-kept facility with amazing staff!"
I traveled with 7 family members and we reserved 3 garden view hotels rooms at the Westin. After a long day of travel from the states, we arrived in Fiji well before the hotel check-in time. The Westin staff helped ease our exhaustion by getting us checked into our rooms at 12 PM instead of the usual 3 PM! Every staff member at the Westin was gracious, warm, and friendly. We were always greeted with a smile. The facility is well-kept and lights up beautifully in the evening. They have family friendly events during the day and wonderful live music in the evenings. We used the spa and the fitness facilities as well. Those were also enjoyable and useful. The staff also came through for us at the end of our trip. We were able to extend our check-out time and continue to use the facility to freshen up before our taxi ride to the airport. Overall, we had a great experience--mostly due to the wonderful staff. The biggest downside of the Westin (and the Sheraton) are the dining costs. While it is expected at a resort, some of the prices felt a bit unreasonable. Also, the beach at the Westin is not really accessible. For softer sand and swimmable ocean water, go over to the Sheraton!

"AMAZING place! Amazing value for money!"
We stayed at two hotels on our trip to Fiji: the 5 star Sofitel in Nadi and Tambua Sands. We preferred Tambua Sands ANY DAY over the Sofitel. Not that the Sofitel was bad it was very nice although they did try sneakily get us to pay $400 more than we had to!!! Dodgy! ...but we preferred Tambua for a number of reasons: 1/ It was quiet, tranquil and you felt like you were living on the beach on a secluded island. Pool was nice. 2/ All the bungalows were literally on the beach under the palm trees. We stepped out the door on to some grass and the sand and water were literally metres away - amazing! 3/ The staff were incredible. Friendly and helpful. 6 star service. 4/ It was more tropical than the north. The north is open space with less jungle. Tambua is midway down the island and really feels like you're in a tropical paradise with jungle all around. 5/ The beach is proper sand whereas up north the beaches are a horrible clay which is dirty when you walk on it or disturb it in the water - feels sludgy! The water is therefore dirty as well. Tambua is crystal clear with beautiful beaches. 6/ At Tambua you could put on your snorkeling gear (free from reception) and, literally from the waters edge, there are tropical fish so you can snorkel out 200metres through reefs which extend for 100km along that coast. The most incredible snorkeling experience I've ever had. The food was interesting and quite tasty although there is not a lot around. All round: very, very good!
