Worth the minor inconvenience

Room rate was very affordable because our stay was on the weekend and this hotel seemed to cater to business travelers. Entrance and parking access were hard to find, partially because of construction. Hotel was modern and clean. Room was very comfortable and surprisingly quiet given the great view of incoming planes. Free coffee in the lobby from 6-8AM seemed a bit rigid. At 8:04 we had to pay $2.75 and buy our own newspaper. Would have been more annoying if we had paid "market rate"

Good hotel, great deal.

I tried to find a good deal close to the airport, I highly recommend this hotel as an option. The service at the front desk wasnt great, but the rest of the place is worth it.

good business hotel- close to airport

lovely hotel with a large gym, pool and sauna. close to o’hare, but when I called for a ride upon my arrival, the shuttle never showed, so I hopped in a cab. Ok for return trip, but don’t count on the shuttle once you land. if you want to get some exercise by taking the stairs- don’t bother. I got completely lost and ended up in the kitchen somewhere. take the elevator with everyone else. room size is good, great sample products, quality of bed and bedding is excellent! coffee avail only on request "If they have any left" so be sure to make it clear if you are a caffeine addict. if you do get one, it’s a large Keurig machine with lots of choices- very convenient. restaurant/bar had a limited menu and it was expensive (std for this area anayway), but it was high quality and uniquely prepared.

great night

We only stayed here one night after our wedding so we’d be closer to the airport but it was lovely. Room was comfortable and pretty, service was top notch.

We will be coming back again.

The hotel was under construction for remodeling, so the parking garage was a little messy. Other than that, it is a great hotel and a very good value. We will return.

We stayed at this hotel because it is such a great value. Although our activities were to go to the city for a Cub’s game and back again for dinner with family, it was not a bad drive to Wrigley Field or to Ron of Japan restaurant.

Somewhat dated but courteous personnel

The hotel is in need of some improvements, and the term "suite" is misleading, it is nothing more than an ordinary hotel/motel room. The bath water rises when you take a shower. The beds only have one sheet unless you request a top sheet. The personnel was very friendly and accomodating, but this hotel needs refurbished. And, the daily parking rate is a little much.

The hotel is only a block away from the Blue Line train, which makes it easy to get to town and back, without having to fight traffic or find parking.

Nice hotel

Very close to Rosemont Theatre. Very friendly staff and very clean areas and bedrooms.

Excellent Hotel

Stayed here for some sightseeing in downtown Chicago. While it is a hike to downtown-8min walk to the subway and a 30 minute ride,the price of the hotel (1/3 of a downtown one) made it worth it. There is a $18.00 charge for parking.The beds are exceptional and the hotel is modern and clean.

Traveler's tip on saving a few bucks

Definately buy a subway pass if you are staying a few days as it gives you unlimited sub and bus rides. The City Pass is a great deal and I was able to sell unused attraction tickets on E-Bay after our trip.

It’s OK

Other than no fridge, no slippers, no free internet, no free parking, it’s good in general. Very near airport, quiet, nice service.

Would Stay Again

Nice, clean hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful with local information. I would stay here again. Shuttle to ORD was convenient and on time.

Muvico is within walking distance and has a wonderful resturant--Bogarts. Very nice entertainment complex.

Not impressed with the entire place

The name of the hotel had changed before I arrived; a lil harder to find. The lobby was nice, front desk staff was pleasant, there was a small gift shop, and the pool was 24 hours.. those were the high points. Low side; the cleaning staff didn’t make it to my room, had to ask for towels, closet door didn’t open all the way and it blocked the room door, no continental breakfast, hair-dryer was broken and not much in the area unless you’re going to the convention center.

There are nicer places around, but if you like to swim and there are not many pools in Chicago, then you’ll enjoy the 24hr access.

One of Chicago’s Best Hotels

Really enjoyed the elegant hotel which was very clean and comfortable. The view from our room was awesome. The workout facilities were great along with the complimentary fresh fruit. The hotel was a very convenient location to many popular sites. The restaurant food was delicious and the service was excellent. I will be using this hotel in many of my future trips to Chicago.

The hotel was very conveniently located to the Rosemont Theatre and the convention center. It was also very close to the Chicago Subway system as well.

Very Nice Place ....

We did enjoy the hotel~& will go back. Didn’t realize the amenities (coffee pot etc.) for rooms have to be ordered ahead of time. Very comfy to come to though after intense business training. Pool area very lovely.Everyone had smiles and we felt welcomed.

Front desk service inconsistent

We had a couple of wonderful people at the front desk who went the extra mile in helping with parking and directions. But there was one young woman who checked us in that we had to deal with a couple of times who: waited until her private conversation was over before she helped me, didn’t do the room key right and I had to return to the front desk to make it work, was unsure how to charge me for the parking and seemed not into her job at all. The other front desk people were great and the room and 40 inch tv were wonderful! Parking is a long walk to the back and not convenient and is $18.00 per day but hey you pay for parking in Chicago that’s just the way it is. The location is nice only 15-20 minutes from downtown.

Nice Place to Stay

The hotel staff was friendly and the room was very spacious and clean. The only thing that I didn’t like was the $18 fee per night for parking. Other than than that, the hotel was great and we would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Rosemont/Sofitel

Our stay was wonderful. The staff was very professional and helpful. I will certainly stay there again when we return to Chicago. Room service was fast and very good. The bed was so comfortble. It waswell worth the stay. Very centrally located. Starbucks is right around the corner.

Not Impressed

Appeared as though the hotel is in a state of kaos. Was given a key and directed to my room on fourth floor, got there and the key would not open the door. Went back down to front desk they again gave me another key, went back to same room, found the room occupied and in a mess. Again retruned to the front desk was redirected this time to another room. Appeared as if everything was up in the air, most persons at the front desk acted as if new or very untrained at the least. I will not go back.

Meets expectations

Hotel was good, and comfortable. I was not satisfied with the room service charge for coffee, other than that hotel met expectations.

Very well located hotel.

The Hotel is nicer inside, the rooms are so comfortable and hotel staff were very kind. The hotel is adjoining to the convention center.

You can take the hotel’s shuttle sevice to the airport and take the train to Chicago downtown.
