“Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay ”

“Property was within walking distance to the beach and shops. Owners Julie-Anne and Charlie were absolutely charming and recommended places to visit and how to get there. Breakfasts were very tasty and the air conditioning worked a treat.”

“Great location; 5 min walk from the Torquay train station and 10 min walk to the waterfront. Clean, well-maintained and charming room and facilities. Good-sized bathroom with excellent amenities. Cute bar, lounge, and reading room. Nice bit of garden in the front to sit and read or bask in the sun. Excellent breakfast. Above all, charming and lovely hosts Wendy and Steve (Thank you ever so much). We will be coming back for sure.”

“Janet and Martin were the absolute best hosts! From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, they were so attentive, helpful, and a true pleasure to be around. This was really one of the greatest vacation stays of my entire life, and that's due to the dedication of Janet and Martin as well as the cozy, warm atmosphere they've created at their inn.
