"Excellent quality accommodation, situated within sight of the sea front. Very tidy well maintained property, quiet and comfortable.
Only problem was car parking facility, which was a council owned park opposite. Charges were very high hourly, £7 for a day.
In all, an excellent break. "

"Staff really friendly and helpful. Location couldn’t be better just a few minutes to the beach. Overall we would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Aberystwyth."

"Really like how close it is to the ocean, nice breakfast! However it can be challenging to find parking plus WiFi is a bit spotty on the top floor. Otherwise nice stay! "

"Room was nice and is close to the beach, was stood about 30 minutes in the lobby before anyone came to us I rang and I could hear the phone ringing no one was answering, when staff were about, so customer service could definitely be improved. it’s more of a pub rather than a hotel. If it was more professional and organised it could be lovely. "

"Very nice staff and comfortable bed however the carpet was old and worn to the point where there was hoops of carpet big enough to trip me by the bathroom door and sharp pins sticking up from under the window where it should hold down the carpet but there was not much carpet left there .. a few stains on the wall but other than that enjoyed it "

"Booked a 3 bed flat and was charged for a 3 bed flat. Instead of getting what we had booked we had to move every night from a 2 bed flat to a studio flat and back to another 2 bed flat (there was 4 of us). Instead of offering an compensation they just said that it was my fault."

"The rooms and facilities seemed a bit dated and aged for what we paid, but that said the staff were lovely and helpful and the breakfast buffet was very generous and tasty."

"The proximity to the promenade and shops was perfect. Parking was excellent, we parked for free for nearly three days. It was enjoyable to sit on the verandah and watch the world go by.
Reception staff and in the dining room were very polite and helpful. The dining room appeared to have been recently decorated and we both thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts."

"D12 treetops at Clarach bay is a lovely setting. Family friendly and lovely staff. We had hot water and good recycling facilities. The site was perfect. However, some of our bedcovers had chocolate on them!!! We found spares to use instead. The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility...

"Nice b+b, very close to the sea in a side street, could see the sea from my room (partial sea view). My double room was really nice, very clean but no bathroom, which was communal, I didn't realise this until I entered my room. Didn't notice this in the description, obviously my error. Shared bathroom wasn't a problem though, but will definitely want my own for the next booking. Bed was comfortable, pillows bit lumpy but I did sleep really well. Internet very good indeed, breakfast menu great and food exceptional, and the gentleman taking breakfast orders was really nice, polite and friendly. Accommodation is next to the Castle and only a short walk to the main promenade and main shopping area's. Check-in was a bit different from the norm, no member of staff just folders on the desk with each person's name and room name with keys, quite straight forward so not an issue. Overall very happy with my one night stay, will definitely stay at the Gwesty Guest House again "
"Very comfortable and relaxing stay. Stay in the flats , rooms are spacious , beds comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The green headboard on the main bedroom had a strong smell of unwashed hair ( it seriously needs to be replaced). We had no WiFi and on enquiring we were informed the previous guests had used it up? There were plenty cleaning materials and cooking facility was ok. The mechanism for holding main doors open was broken. Very irritating with the wind. We enjoyed the swimming pool very much. The cliff walks are beautiful . D12 treetops Mobile home needs repairs and freshening up but we did enjoy our stay despite the smelly headboard. "
"The apartment was very easy to find and in a great location, minutes away from the prom and beach and minutes away from the main shopping area. It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well stocked with all the equipment you could possibly need on holiday. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable and spacious. We met the cleaners who were working on the next apartment and they were so friendly and helpful giving local information. We will definately return."

LUXURY DOUBLE ROOM WITH ENSUITE IN THE HEART OF ABERYSTWYTH
10/10 Excellent
"Heather is amazing, greeted us and served us Welsh cakes on arrival! Made a dinner reservation for us and served an amazing breakfast!! You have your own sitting room, bedroom is quaint and lovely. Would highly recommend. "
"Perfect location only steps from everything. Parking can be tricky but in four nights we managed to find a spot without too much trouble, just expect to park several blocks away for an unrestricted spot. Otherwise park out the front after the shops close and everyone goes home. The apartment was nicely refurbished but as a three bedroom catering for long stay visits it needs a laundry.Ventilation is poor and the apartment was very stuffy. There are no fans or air con to move the air and with a small window in each room that can’t be left ajar securely and has to be closed at night, we suffocated. The apartment is ground floor and basement with two beds, kitchen and bathroom in the basement (worked well) and main ensuited bedroom, separate toilet and lounge on the ground floor. All other apartments are above.Wifi on ground level was excellent however there was no coverage in the basement so guests are unable to connect if in bed or cooking.Check in was simple if not a little confusing to start, having to go to the “Four Seasons” hotel around the corner. Parking for this exercise might be difficult so prepare to double park and use a runner. Across the road from the apartment are a number of street stalls. One in particular has a generator starting late moring and running until 10pm every night. This was the most unpleasant aspect of the stay (except for the ventilation). The Town Council need to shut these down or insist ona power supply. It is unacceptable."
"Overall the property is very good, but it's let down by a few minor issues that could be quickly changed: - the Vrbo listing says it's a 'second floor' apartment, it's not, it's on the first floor. It also says there's a 'golf view', there isn't, it's on the seafront with no view out of the back at all. The listing also says 'parking available' but there is no parking there at all in the town centre, it's limited to one hour during the day. The people in the ground-floor apartment got a parking ticket because of this listing error. - there was no washing up liquid or dishwasher tablets available to clean the crockery & pans. - the toilet paper provided is appallingly cheap rubbish. Providing decent toilet paper will not break the bank!- the shower has 3 dispensers, all were full but none worked, must be blocked - and I found a large clump of hair inside the bed under the duvet. Not nice. As I said, a lovely apartment, good price, great location, but little things like these above let you down unnecessarily. "
