"Relaxing and very very Private"
one of the most private, beautiful hotel experience. The staff is very attentive and always smiling and they put your privacy above anything. The views were most amazing. The hotel is very well planned with emphasis on respecting expect mosquitoes and the birds and the bees. The hotel provides OFF spray in each room and even at the the restaurants. The water bottle and soft drinks were included too. The food was good too especially the breakfast with freshly squeezed juices and made to order eggs etc.Above all the staff works very hard to make your stay memorable. Thx Edith, Ricardo, Jose Luis ,Chef Zackary ,Dominoo, Ubed and Javier!

"Beautiful view with a private pool"
It was a lovely hotel with lots of charm. It was fun to ride on the pink jeeps. I spent the day at the beach club and ate a delicious lunch with a spectacular view.

"On the beach, but no AC😕"
The hotel staff was very nice, especially the manager. There was no AC in my room and no TV. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The shower broke, and they fixed it quickly. The WiFi was eek and spotty. Good place to stasy to get away from technology. The beach was beautiful and the neighborhood seemed safe. Ernesto gave a tour of the lahgoon. He was very friendly and kind.

"Great no-frills getaway"
The staff is fantastic! Carlos is the only one who speaks english, but they are so kind, sweet and accommodating. The view is superb, this place is peaceful, basic and relaxing but on the rustic side. It isn't a bargain resort. And it really isn't spa-like. It's pretty simple. And I think the 3 1/2 star rating is over generous. Although I did have the entire resort to myself for most of my stay. When I was there, the hot tub and sauna were not working. The beds are uncomfortable, the linen had holes in it & was scratchy. The TV's are a tiny 15" and a few english channels were avail. The rooms are small and basic - but the casa is awesome! I wish I stayed there. One day there were kids in the pool all day which was loud and annoying since the pool & pool area is small. Guests brought their dogs and along with the neighbor dogs, they barked throughout the night, that was not cool. This place does NOT have a shop for sundries or snacks and it is very remote from any kind of store. The food is basic and expensive for what it is. Certainly not gourmet. Taxi from the airport is $35 USD ($380 pesos) but they arranged a taxi for my return to the airport that was $25 ($200 pesos). There is nothing to do here except relax and enjoy the sun. No night life, nothing. Which is great if that is what you are going for - which I did. I stayed 6 days & nights, and that was too long. I should have stayed 4 nights.

"Amazingly friendly"
The people at Boca Chica were outstanding. We felt welcomed immediately and the views are stunning. The food is lacking for dinner a bit... but breakfast is wonderful! Not sure I understand the Japanese influenced menu... I wish it was just authentic Mexican recipes from the region using fresh local fish. Ceviche is a winner though. The pool is amazing and the place is just fantastically charming. Make sure you dive off of the boat dock!

"For a specific type of traveller"
I loved my stay here. The hotel, rooms, food and, of course, front row seating to watch the cliff divers. If you have come for beaches, sterile crowded high rise hotels and trinket shopping and to spend time on your WiFi, this is not it. No beaches and a taxi ride to heart of town, no WiFi. Walking around a working neighbourhood, beautiful scenery which takes you around a promontory. The rooms are old, the tile pigments have worn away but it's still lovely with cosy rooms, comfortable beds and I got a big balcony. Door lock was broken so I stood around with increasing members of staff, laughing as everybody had a go. Great history which you can feel...popular with celebrities many years ago. There are English speaking staff, they have to be hunted down though and everyone is consistently friendly. OXO small supermarket almost across the road with many types of a bottle of each to taste and enjoy on your balcony. There is a fridge in the room. Drawbacks: food is pricey with no options other than to go into town. If you want a genteel Acapulco, this is it.
