This is a very nice “character property” with nice details, nicely furnished interiors, comfy beds and plenty of room to spread about. The location is serene and tranquil and the host responsive and polite. We were in Aiken for a family reunion and this was a perfect spot… much more personable and inviting than a hotel.

Friends getaway
Every year my friends and I get together to visit. This year we picked South Carolina and Aiken was one of the locations we wanted to visit. The home we stayed in was lovely, beautifully decorated, cozy and offered every amenity we needed and the town of Aiken was perfect. It was close to the house and there we several restaurants to choose from that offered different types of cuisines.

what a gem!!
We have quite a bit of family in the area and we wanted to try something other than a hotel and this was the place. We had a room to spread out and eat meals together at a table. Everyone was comfortable and felt safe. What a beautiful area!

Exceptional Stay
Clean, safe, and beautiful home away from home for my wife and I as we came down from Rhode Island for a week to visit our son attending USC Aiken. He is a freshman on the mens soccer team, far from home, and we were able to provide him a time-out from dorm life with his own bedroom without a roommate, fresh cooked meals, and a chill atmosphere to catch up in. A hotel simply could not have given us this. Believe the reviews here. The pics look nice but its actually nicer than the pics, with deep character and warm comfort that represents Aiken so well. Wifi is strong so we could work no problem. Retail and convenience is 5 mins away. USCA is an easy 10 mins. Every question got instant responses (no weird or silly rules). We loved it and will most definitely be back. Thank you so much Hitchcock Haven!

We rented the house for a couple of nights to get my brothers and dad together for a golf weekend in aiken. It was a very nice house, very clean and had plenty of room for us in a nice location close to downtown. No issues getting in or checking out and Jessica was great with providing information regarding both.

The house is elegantly decorated while also being comfortable. A well-stocked kitchen and spacious dining room had everything we needed to enjoy some meals at the house - and the coffee bar was great! Location was very convenient to downtown while being quiet. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely and immaculate home.
The home was freshly painted and decorated with attractive and comfortable furnishings. We enjoyed the large porch equipped with two comfortable couches, large TV and a handy small table where we ate our meals. The patio was well equipped with comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy the warmth of a March sun. We had a small problem and notified the host who was there that afternoon and fixed by the following morning. The perfect place for our spring get away.

This property was perfect! Lots of bedrooms. Hanging out areas and a perfect spot for the dogs! Had a great outdoor space although our time didn’t allow but it looked great for roasting marshmallows! Sheets and bedding so cozy and the kitchen was small but had everything that you needed and a coffee bar and wine which both were needed!!!

Amazing house!!
When I booked this house there were supposed to be 6 of us staying there for a horse show at Stable View. As the show was drawing close, it dwindled down to me, my daughter and another rider from the barn. I started to cancel this house and book something smaller but, I'm so glad I didn't!! This house is so adorable and welcoming. It is decorated so cute, and Jessica has put so much thought into all that she has provided for her guests. I 100% would stay here and again, and would urge anyone considering this house to book it!!

Horse show weekend
This place was absolutely impeccably clean! We enjoyed staying here so much. It was under a ten minute drive to the horse show grounds and Downtown Aiken is just 5 minutes away. Fantastic
Perfect spot for our Masters group. Great location a few short minutes from the center of Aiken. Beautiful unique home. Plenty of space and beds — there’s a trundle bed in the office, which was essentially a 4th bedroom and bed. Beds were very comfortable. Jessica was so quick to respond and easy to work with. Can’t wait to return!
