I want to take a moment to recognize Rahma at the front desk—her customer service was exceptional. When we arrived, the room we reserved with two beds was not available, and only a king room remained. We were on a tight schedule for a concert and needed to get ready quickly, so waiting wasn’t really an option.
Rahma immediately stepped in with solutions. She offered a rollaway bed and, more importantly, went above and beyond by offering to comp our dinner to make up for the inconvenience. That level of attentiveness and care made a stressful moment feel completely manageable. That’s what true customer service looks like.
I’ve stayed at the Hilton Pennywell in St. Louis multiple times, and experiences like this are exactly why I keep coming back. The location is great, the bar is always a go-to spot for us, and the food is consistently delicious.
I also want to acknowledge the bar staff. The young woman serving us was clearly very busy but still did her best to stay attentive, and the gentleman who delivered our food was kind and professional. Together, they made our experience even better.
Overall, this team made a lasting impression. The Hilton Pennywell has become my go-to hotel whenever I’m in St. Louis.
