“It is hard to imagine a better hotel to stay in for your Gold Country vacation. This is a historic property in the heart of old Grass Valley. The property is very well kept up - possibly even beyond its original splendor. The on site restaurant is probably the best in the area - - we tried several, but none were as good as The Golden Gate Saloon (full bar, lunch and dinner). “Lovely house with very quirky but fun decor. Comfortable bed and good breakfast.”

“Management was intrusive and knocked on our door loudly asking to come in and look for a lost key from the previous tenant. That should have been handled before we were given the room. After a long drive, this was the last thing we wanted to deal with. I let it slide because I was exhausted, but the experience was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here — look elsewhere”

“This hotel was great. Very cute and comfortable. There was an issue with the AC but the staff was very responsive and helpful. The bowling alley with restaurant was decent and just a short walk there and back. I will definitely stay here again.”

“The property was amazing! The only issue we had was with the door pad code. The one I received in my information e-mail was incorrect, but Lynette was quick to answer my phone call and tell me the correct code. In all honesty the correct code made more sense and I should have questioned the e-mail as soon as I got it. Before we left, we were already thinking of wht other events in the area may be coming up that we could stay there again.”
