“Joe is a superb host--very friendly and helpful without intruding and accommodating when we unexpectedly needed a key for the cottage.The place was clean and bright and had what we needed for lots of cooking and eating there. Some rentals are sterile, and this had color and decor that made it feel warm.Our favorite feature is the little seating area outside. We enjoyed it multiple times. “We had a great time at this house. It was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. I was impressed by how well-equipped the kitchen was. We did a lot of cooking, and it had everything we needed. Even tupperware for leftovers, which I almost never see at rental houses. The location was very quiet and peaceful, and the views from the deck and the glass sliding door surrounding the livingroom on three sides were gorgeous. “We stayed four nights and had a fabulous time! The location is fantastic with views of the ocean that can’t be beat! The kitchen was extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The living area was very spacious and quite comfortable. “The description is accurate - it is an eclectic funky little place in great location. Host was easy to work with. Place was clean. It is close to the beach and state park for hiking. Close to the town with nice bakeries, Thai food and more. Be sure to read about parking. One space for small car with steep driveway. Or you can park at the top which is fine as long as walking on steep driveway is not a problem. Has a great patio that overlooks the forest - BRING SOMETHING TO PROTECT FROM……
