"Everything was fantastic. Shower was a little complicated to turn on the first time as the button for the water is on the handle (had never seen anything like that before) yet overall a FANTASTIC experience."

Nestled between mountains and rivers, this charming locale boasts the stunning North Carolina Arboretum and easy access to Pisgah National Forest. Visitors can tube down Moonshine Mountain in winter or explore the French Broad River's scenic overlooks for year-round outdoor adventures.
Over the past 5 years we have had occasion to stay at The Lodge many times and it never disappoints. In a word, the Lodge is comfortable. Everything is easy from the parking to the check in to the nice breakfast. The rooms allow for storing food you might have brought with you in a nice size fridge with a decent freezer area. The beds are firm and very comfortable. If you are lucky you might get checked in by the owner who is a great guy and very accommodating. Again, the operative word is...

Solid location. No complaints. The reason I regularly choose Hampton is the consistency of service and facilities. I do hate how hotels no longer provide daily cleaning/refreshing -- it's a lazy by-product of CoVID. We pay daily rates -- we should get daily service.

Had an amazing time at Asheville River Cabins. They literally thought of everything, from fresh ground coffee, extra towels fro the hot tub and even grilling utensils and extra wood for the fire pit.
My only recommendation would be to have the cabin numbers more visible. We arrived late at night and was difficult to find our way.
Once we found the cabin, we thoroughly enjoyed that all of the lights to our cabin were on inside, it felt very welcoming.

The Airstream Campers were awesome! I also appreciate having a charging station for my EV car! We ate at the site a few times, and it was a nice option. Their coffee is fantastic, and great way to start the day!

This is our second time staying at the Village Hotel. We like how close it is to dining and activities, like the winery and the village. Parking is plentiful and free. The only thing I would change is that the Estate has a shuttle for Inn guests only, but I would make it available to all guests, because it literally drives right past the Village hotel with no one on it. If the Estate is priding itself on local, sustainable, environmentally friendly efforts then why force everyone to drive when...

This is a beautiful and friendly property. The room was comfortable, everything (TV, bathroom facilities, etc.) worked, and the entire facility was very clean. During our visit, Hurricane Helene moved across the area, and the hotel lost power. The staff did everything they could to make sure everyone was safe. When we left, the property had no damage despite high winds and flooding rainfall. At checkout, the staff could not print a receipt for us but promised to email us one when the electricity...

We were in town for a mid-week concert and decided to try some place a little different. We could not have made a better decision. This really is a different kind of hotel experience. With only 14 rooms, each with its own layout and decor, and local artwork lining the halls, you can see that the owners put some thought into the renovation of this old building.
There is no 24-hour lobby attendant, each guest receives a code to enter the front door. It was very peaceful inside, with a...

This place was beautiful, comfortable, friendly, and honestly perfect. The owner was the nicest man I’ve ever met and we loved our room. It felt very cozy and comfortable. We will definitely come back.

Perfection! Thank you to Lark Hospitality for giving these properties new life. The restoration is flawless and the rooms are gorgeous. The location is perfect - adjacent to the South Slope and just downhill from the heart of downtown Asheville. These magnificent homes could have easily been torn down to make room for condos or a modern hotel. Instead, they’ve been preserved and renewed for travelers to enjoy. Breakfast was easy, fast and delicious, parking was FREE, and the staff was super...
