“What a hidden gem in the hills! We didn’t get to enjoy the property as much as we’d have liked to, but the pool and the apartment were really nice. Nothing fancy but a great experience nonetheless. It can be a little confusing to find and the directions thru the booking are not accurate at all. You’re better off asking Tomas to drop a pin at his location and following that instead of any other directions. Trust me on this one. Also, you are basically in the jungle! “We were in apt #2 of Casa Pelayo Cleanliness: The shower hadn't been cleaned when we arrived. It had hair and dirt. We contacted management who apologized and said cleaning would come the next day. They didn't. The floors, of course, got progressively dirty throughout our 4 day trip but there was no broom and "extra cleaning" would have come with a fee so we ended up wearing shoes inside. Towels were never changed....for a four-day. False description: Speaking of towels, there were no beach……
