The décor in the lobby was beautiful, our room was comfortable, the pillows were great, the bathroom was spotless, and the beach and pool areas were absolutely amazing. Unfortunately, the service was a huge disappointment. The staff seemed very grumpy and unfriendly, which was sad to see and really affected the overall experience. Another disappointment was the breakfast dress code. I understand there should be standards, but this is a beach resort. I wasn't dressed inappropriately—I was wearing a cover-up, and nothing was revealing. We came down planning to have breakfast before heading to the beach, but I was turned away from the outdoor restaurant because my cover-up was considered "not decent." That experience was frustrating and unnecessary. Writing Overall, the hotel was a 10/10.
