"We liked everything about this hotel-clean, ample parking, friendly staff, great breakfast, my only negative was that the room was a bit cramped. Would stay here again."

"False advertisement. Advertised a hot tub and heated pool. Heated pool had no heat and was unbearable. Hot tub was down and staff said they were on it but other guest told us it was shut down by the health dept. Staff was nice but lied about a known issue. There was trash from the guest before. Dirt and rotten food under desk, curtains, bed edges. Window was fogged over between the panels. Couldn't even see outside "

"Just returned from two night stay at the Chetola Resort in celebration of our ninth anniversary. Our room was exceptional. We had a balcony and lovely view of the lake. The disc golf course was great and my husband and I played a round. We did not use the spa or the pool and hot tub but there appeared to be plenty of towels and warm water. We skipped the restaurant too. We did eat at The Moon, a Thai and sushi restaurant in Blowing Rock and highly recommend. "

"The staff made this worth staying at. We were in town for a soccer tournament and it was just me and my kids. The front desk staff were so kind and helpful. When out of towels in the pool, he personally brought in the number of towels we needed for our large group. The women at the front were great with my needy kids and so kind when something was sadly not working. The only downfall was the elevator broke the second day and the pool had to close early one night because of a minor cut from a guest. The hot tub jets didn't work one night, but we're fixed the next day. The staff tried everything they could to make accommodations, and one even offered to help my kids carry their items up the stairs. Amazing staff. Close to everything. Will definitely book here again for the next tournament ."
