"Very clean and well appointed property. Kitchen well stocked and bathrooms very nice to use. Very pleasant to just stay in and enjoy the property. We could have stayed longer. Communication was easy and quick feedback. Owners provided useful information on the area on things to do and places to go. Would definitely stay there again if in that area."

My family and I stayed here for 4 days and we absolutely adored this place. Let’s just say every time we went out somewhere, we wanted to just come back to independence inn. It felt like home! It was the most relaxing vacation we’ve had. Will definitely be coming back in the near future.

Make reservations for the private pool (FYI there is no hot tub, despite what Expedia claims, which was a minor disappointment.) So convenient to get dinner at the attached steakhouse (the creamed spinach and steak tips with parm fries are recommended). Easy 15 minute drive to Gunstock. We hope to be back.
