"Lovely grounds for walking. Great public rooms. Dinner menu rather limited if you were staying more than a couple of days. Room was comfortable although bathroom could do with an update. "

"Lovely clean and modern hotel. Excellent breakfast, I wasn’t impressed with the dinner menu though.. I found the bed a bit too firm but that was my personal preference. Bathroom amenities were excellent. There is a lovely spa but unfortunately I didn’t use this. All staff I came in contact with were very helpful and friendly. "

Food served in the bar was tasty and portions were good but highly priced for the standard. Wine is very expensive! Breakfast options good and fast service. The hotel does need updating. The central heating was permanently on and no thermostat on the bathroom radiator so it was unbearably hot. Same issue experienced in other guest rooms...
