“A great welcome at the bar, with the lovely landlady already pouring my next beer as I walked up—now that's service! The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was really comfortable. A very pleasant stay overall.”

“The room was very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. The bathroom was very nice. We used the pool and jacuzzi which we found to be well maintained and as we would have wanted.
The food was very good both at breakfast and dinner although the service at breakfast was disappointing as our coffee was forgotten.
All in all a very pleasant stay (our two sons were playing in the PGA golf competition) and the course was beautiful.”

“Good location near shopping mall and market. The room was spacious and comfortable but we needed to climb up the stairs with our heavy luggage. Dinner was delicious.”

“I had a warm welcome and my case was taken up to my room. The room was large with king sized bed. All clean, dated, but that suited the age of hotel! There was a small table with kettle and a selection of tea, coffee etc. Large en-suite with large shower.
Lots of choices on breakfast menu and cooked freshly. Parking was easy.
Location was excellent. 5 minutes walk to Lacock Abbey. Lacock is a very small place but very interesting.”
