It is a little worn in places, but everything worked. The room was a little small, like a caravan bedroom, but fine for us. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the food was nice. There was just continental breakfast to choose from in the morning, but there was plenty and it was nice food. We ate in the restaurant twice, the food was lovely, enough choices and definately value for money compared to others in the local area. Especially if you choose from the set menu. The local setting was beautiful. We didn't walk into bath but used the local bus, leaving our car in the car park. Ensure you read the terms and conditions re paying the deposit for your stay on arrival and also the £10 per stay car parking fee. For our 3 night stay, this was fine. We found that the sat nav kept trying to take us over the toll bridge even when chose, avoid tolls, so beware to check the direction maps is taking you, if you don't want to pay the charge. You can park on the main road for free if prefer." Then ask them to “zip” the 2 twin beds together. Also be careful when you check out, we had prepaid on Expedia (3 months prior when I booked) but the booking didn’t show this and they wanted to charge me.I had my receipt indicating PAID and this took a number of calls and digging and explaining from their side. BE CAREFUL. The reception staff were friendly sorting this out. I just found it fishy.
