The staff was always ready to help you and give you any advice about Cartagena. Super friendly staff, if you needed a taxi there always a couple waiting outside of the hotel, the beach was connected to the hotel so that was a plus. Overall 10/10

Great place. To bad Expedia doesn’t offered the all inclusive deal package available in the hotel. Expedia needs to come to some type of arrangement with the property like other agencies has done to make the all inclusive package available for tourism. Once the becomes possible the hotel Dann in Cartagena will become a great place to stay and visit.

Hotel Dann was an outstanding experience! I was treated with kindness and respect. A beautiful hotel that is kept spotlesly clean. My room was maybe the nicest hotel room i have ever stayed in. The breakfast was fantastic. For the money, this hotel is world class. The only negative is, this hotel is not handicap accessible, and would be very frustrating if in a wheelchair, or having mobilty issues.

The hotel is clean and smells good. The staff are friendly and very informative. The food in the hotel restaurant is exceptional. They didn’t miss not once. There are many food options in the area thats walking distance as well as a money exchange office is right across the street. Only downside is the beach on the property is public so you are literally harassed by the locals selling products. The hotel do warn you though and let you know in advance that its a public beach and to be careful out there.

It’s a regular hotel. It’s not fancy, and it’s convenient. The hotel is steps away from the beach. However, the beach is open to the public, so you will find no peace going to the beach. You will be swarmed with panhandlers. Your best bet is to set up your beach chair at the hotel’s pool. When you want to swim in the ocean, etc, just walk the 10 steps to the beach, get what you need and come back to the pool to lay out in peace. It’s in a safe neighborhood. I went on 4 mile walks in the morning and felt safe. Everyone is friendly and there are a lot of beggers and scammers. So just be mindful and know how to simply say, “No”. The room was smaller than what the pictures depicted and so was the pool. But all in all, I had a good experience at the hotel.

The rooms were way too small. In the regular room with 2 twin beds, there hardly any space to walk around the beds. To get some breathing space one has to book a junior suite or a full size suite. Staff, service and security personnel were excellent though. Breakfast and food menu was great as well.

lindo hotel, no hay sensor en los pisos pares, asi que hay que caminar un poco, hay un supermercado cerca y encuentras de todo, la playa ay Dios mío llénese de paciencia porque hay muchoooosss vendedores y no Te dejan disfrutar. de lo demás cama cómoda cuarto amplio (nos toco el 12 piso)

Terrible-under construction. They were hammering and drilling on the room next door and didnt tell us hotel was under construction. We asked to be moved and they said no any other room you would still hear the noise. Noise started at 8am and would be crazy loud sometimes it made you jump up from the loud banging. When we asked to speak with the manager he did nothing. He said we told them to stop but they didnt listen. Offered no discount our any other accommodations. We were in the 2 beddroom suite and they didnt even guve us a bottle water. They said they arent a real hotel Dann but the lower level. Rooms were old and the bathroom window didnt even close so you could hear the cars outside. Not what you would expect from the amount we paid and the Hotel Dann name.
