“Room was very clean and smart. Had a lovely sleep in the king bed.
Cooked breakfast was lovely - they actually had a ‘vegetarian’ cooked breakfast on the menu that featured vegetarian haggis Pattie!
Staff were very courteous and helpful.”
“Lovely spot, plenty of parking, lots of character and well located.
Main complaint is only a queen size bed in a hiuge room. For the proce, King size should have been standard.”
“Our room was large, comfortable, and clean. The bed and pillows were comfy. Our room was on the third floor (no lift), but Andy grabbed two bags and helped us up. He was amazing on the desk and in the restaurant. Our meals were delicious. The provided breakfast was hot and made to order.
Pete runs a nice, older, family-run inn and we would definitely stay again.”
“Such a beautiful apartment. Very spacious, beautiful decor & cozy. Location is walking distance to the center of Inverness & local grocery store. Sylvia is so sweet & made our stay special with all her communication, snacks & everything thing you would need in a home away from home. Hope to return in the near future.”
“This place is just a notch above a hostel. Only difference is you have a private room and bathroom. One key per room, no matter how many people are in the room. Refrigerator is located in the management office which is locked up most of the evening. Microwave is in a bottom floor lounge that is locked clearly evening and not unlocked until 10am. TV in rooms only work for streaming if you have an account with the streaming service. No elevator/lift at all.
They’ve put a lot of work into this……
“Staying at this hotel was like a roller coaster of service, and I just wanted to get away.
Breakfast: We were asked to pay an extra £18 per person, and we were told we could cancel it, but they forced it on us.
Cleaning: The "wet" towels were placed on the bed, but how do I use them? Biscuits were only replenished on the last day.
The cleaning standards varied from day to day, suggesting a problem with "standardized procedures" and "staff training."
They even unplugged our chargers and threw……
“I stayed in three different hostels for my first Scotland trip. This is the best one out of the three. Definitely I will return during my next visit to Inverness. This hostel was the only one that could accommodate my request for a lower bunk bed, which I greatly appreciated, as I needed to wake up in early morning.
Location:
Very affordable rates and just about 15min walk from the town center. It is easier to walk from Morrison, and for those needing to travel to the airport, there is a bus……
