“Great that it’s across the street from the beach. Plants on their front porches need some TLC and clean up around the floor where they sit. Old hotel with thin walls and floors, could hear everything on the floor above us. Otherwise, nicely decorated, clean bathroom. I would stay again, but on the top floor.”

“I do not recommend this place due to cleanliness issues. The sheets were not changed—it looked like they had merely made the bed. Furthermore, the television was not working, and the bathtub was dirty. Do not let the low price be your deciding factor when booking a hotel; pay the going rate—even if it is a bit expensive—and be sure to check the reviews and star ratings. “Vending machines broken, wear and tear visible in the room, shower and bathroom faucet dysfunctional and noisy. Staff was friendly but not very attentive. Parking was adequate.”

“The location was perfect. A ½ block from beach. A clean area to walk on the boardwalk. Was off season so nice and empty. The rooms were updated nicely and very clean. The communication with the hotel host liaison, Bernadette, was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and filling, prepared to our specifications. It’s a quaint small establishment but a perfect getaway for the weekend. Would highly recommend!”

“I just had one of the best hotel stays ever at The Asbury Hotel in Asbury Park — highly recommend! The location is perfect: it’s a short, pleasant walk to the beach. We reached the boardwalk in under 5 minutes, making sunrise and sunset strolls super convenient with no parking hassles. The heated pool was a highlight. Warm, clean, and relaxing even on cooler evenings, with a fun social vibe and comfortable loungers. One of the best hotel pools on the Jersey Shore. Inside, the in-house coffee……
