"Check in was a breeze, the communication with the owner was on point. I knew everything I needed before I got there. Even the internet password, the owner was very polite and helpful. I'm glad I was able to take my mother there on vacation. The downside was having to go home when it was over. But I went fishing every morning and night it was great (didn't catch anything but had a blast)."

"We had 5 families stay here for a reunion (18 people, 8 kids age 10 yrs and younger). The hosts were super professional, friendly and responsive. The people in town were amazingly friendly as well! The kids were in the pool, on the playground, in kayaks or canoes or playing in the rec spaces inside. The kitchen and dining area was large enough to accommodate us all so we could be together for meals.Many vacations you are happy to be there, and ready to go home. Our kids begged us to stay longer and all of us adults would have easily agreed."
"We booked a very short notice, spontaneous long weekend. We had such a great time. The views from the house are amazing. The lake is stunning. We spent our time sitting out on the dock. My two older boys loved fishing and swimming. We also rented a pontoon boat for the day and just had an amazing time cruising around. It was definitely the R&R my family needed. This was our first time at lake Weiss and we will definitely be back. "

"The property is exactly how the photos are. Absolutely beautiful. The only bad part is the windy steep hills to get to it but is within a 25 minute drive for food, shopping and site seeing. Highly recommend for large families!!!"

"The home was exactly what the description said. Me and my family felt like we were actually at home. House was newly remodeled and very clean . Beautiful sight of Weiss Lake and very quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back again!!!"
"The sugar shack was a great place to stay with my husband and daughter. Being right on the lake was amazing. It was just enough room for the three of us. The grill was in great condition, we grilled out each night of our stay. I think it’s important for anyone staying here knows that getting to the house from the top of the driveway and getting down to the lake could be challenging if you have any mobility issues. The path leading to the house and dock is downhill and somewhat challenging, with uneven terrain. "
