Our questions were replied to with a tone that indicated we should have known the answer. As a general rule we don’t ask questions we already know the answer to. We were told that since we booked thru Expedia we didn’t get information about check in location being 6 blocks from the actual building where our room was. We checked in but had to go back three hours later to get room keys. Seems a courier service could have provided that to guests. Our room was not swept during previous clean as so much sand and grit was on the floor you couldn’t go barefoot inside. Living area furniture stained. Bedroom furniture too large for space. Theside farthest from the bathroom was tight squeeze with high risk for broken toes on the bed frame and dresser
The pool side cabanas are an absolute joke and what a rip off price wise.
Free parking was a benefit but a dangerous garage due to tight spaces and poor visibility.
Every concern was blamed on using Expedia rather than direct booking thru the resort. Direct booking did not allow cancellation option. We are both first responders so had to be able to have cancellation insurance.
If booking to this facility allows to be outsourced then the resort should own up to responsibility of providing incoming guests what they need to know on arrival. They stated they couldn’t possibly communicate with all guests booking through outside sources. If so many that should be an indicator of some sort of difficulty with direct booking experiences.
