The hotel was just fine. Rooms clean, shower was awesome. If I could change anything it would be to allow the drapes to be closed instead of having a couple of feet where the black-out shades did not reach nor were they intended to cover the entire window. Because I did not realize I would be staying in Charleston on this night, I had made reservations for the following night for personal reasons and not business at the Aloft Hotel. It was absolutely HORRIBLE and the Hampton was so much nicer.

The room was very clean. The lobby was well tended and clean. Breakfast was the best breakfast I have ever had at a hotel. All around a very good place to stay. The room we stayed in had a thermostat that was sitting crooked on the wall. It also had a big gap in the wall under the thermostat. I meant to tell the front desk about it when we left, but forgot. It was a little disconcerting to hav a hole in the wall wondering if there was a hidden camera in there. Otherwise, everything was very nice.
